hhahhaha

oh man..that woulda been great! especially if u used an 'emo' song that was 'popular'...but it was pretty good anyway, i enjoyed it. i like some 'emo'..mostly cause im forced to weed that shit out of the genre whehn i try to listen to punk...but the movie was tight...and at least you added some stuff that people who don't like emo would listen to...the pop. hell yeah. pop is the shit. nice werk.

ur animation is GREAT

your jokes suck. spend more time on the writing. pokemon sux.

i love your films.

They're absolutely amazing, I am always amazed with the new stuff I find in them. It sux that flash makes it so hard to watch frame by frame, but I just have to when I see these Brackenwood films! Did you draw the cloud of YuYus or come up with another actionscript to help out with that?

The energy was fantastic and the camera moves/angles did nothing but add to the entertainment of the whole show. The colors were rich and fit perfectly..the color palatte was especially nice when Bitey was surrounded by the clouds. It was also great to see such a vast exploration of the Brackenwood environment, very fun... I especially liked when Bitey soars above the trees. AWESOME job! Looking forward to the next one as I watch this over and over...

Yep I drew the YuYu cloud frame-by-frame.. no 3D here.
In fact, there's no vCam or programming either.. just entirely hand-drawn frame-by-frame backgrounds, characters and effects. And I'm glad you love it :D
Thanks for reviewing

croikey

i think you should make the play button a little smaller..it was kinda big.
also, be careful bout putting clocks in ur moviies, i almost clicked the X cause of the clock..clocks suck. loved the super analmorphic widescreen. the snake was tight foreals.
WOW man...that waqs rrealllly funny. I dunno if its the beers talkin but that was actually professional writing quality. How long did it take u to write that foreal? Great Job. You deserve youw own tv show...that was soo much better than Trading Spaces.

well unfortunately ...

the only reason i liked this is because it was like South Park and that project is simply genius. unfortunately yours is only a copy of it...albeit a good one..all the way down to the posters on the wall and the slogans placed in the background. anyhow..i think you should develop your own style...even if you have to take photos and do a 'south park' animation with them, make it your own. that will be better than emulating another style. your skill is good tho.

Nahkoten responds:

I understand where you're coming from about developing my own style, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean about taking photos to do a South Park animation?? Anyways, this is just for fun so I'm glad you thought I emulated the style well, because thats what I was going for this time around.

interesting...original....

i applaud your subtle use of 3d without overdoing it...and good job on matching it to the film's aesthetic. also, the camera work was good, nice storyboard and prop design. the only thing i really thought you could improve is the lighting/mood. maybe use a richer color palette in certain shots/scenes to really bring out the eeriness and mood. other than that great job..do more.

ha

so you're gonna wait until she becomes a successful, rich doctor before you tell her you love her? that sounds about right.

that part was dumb. but otherwise, i would say make the text more poetic, and do it as a voice over (as if reading from a journal or something), it will sound more personal. Slap a "based on a true story" statement on the title card and you got urself a winner.

awesomely creative..

at first i was like..oh cool, nice animation with a style i haven't seen before. then i thought it was like any Fight Movie i've seen. Then i was like...sweeeeet! you added some really creative twists to the fight and humor. great job. the sound was really nice too. mad props brah.

pretty cool but..

reminded me too much of Peter and Brian's relationship. and they do it better. nice animation tho.

CalicoMonkey responds:

I had not considered this, but I can see it to a degree. As the character development progresses I think you'll find that their relationship is quite a bit different than Peter and Brian's.

asdf

The guy in tgeh red shirts personality didnt match his visual character at all. The 'fuckin' cowboy' shirt was hot. the lighting was awesome. the camera moves were awsesome. im dru;n;k. the overall movie was boring and lame. sucka.
