i gotta say man..

Knives is absolutely right. As a 16 year old critic he's obviously been around long enought to distinguish between a great, well thought out animation, and a heaping mass of refuse. And as a seasoned professional in flash animation he has the right to criticise your work against his own...it just doesn't live up to his divine standards, thus you'll have to try much harder next time to satisfy his yearn for an animation of true magnificence. You did intend for this animation to be considered for a major motion picture, right?

I loved it. Don't listen to the guy about the broken outline of the cat...that was hot. Very stylish cartoon..comical and cute. Bet your cat is very proud.

it went a bit downhill after the first scene but picked up again...you need to put the fart noise at the end as well to tie it all together

that was sweet...you guys had great animation and whoever tied all that shit together is smart as shit...noice.

hmm..well...

i must say...ive never seen such awesome animation with such shitty drawing...but its okay, because Home Movies does the same thing...yea that doesnt make sense but im too drunk to go back and delete shit and what not...
my negative critique is that i saw something just like this for somebodys demo reel application for Pixar studios...same premise, but with an alien singing and a disco ball dropped on him...im not sayin you bit..but it's already been done.
good job anyway, i liked it...as if my approval matters.

Thats funny, I sort of thought that the drawings were better than the crap animation personally. The backgrounds were total crap though, I just sort of threw them in after it was done cause a plain white back is sort of boring. Oh and I know about the Alien Song, it is what I based this off of, I didn't feel like being particularly creative for my first vid, I just wanted to get a feel for the program and get something done that I didn't have to spend any time planning or story boarding. Thanx for the review.

im sayin..i can tell you have drawing skillz...and animation skillz...but you need someone to write somethin for you..cause it jus didnt grab/keep my attention....the only thing that kept me watching was the art. the story blew. im sure that took a while to make..but you jus need to get a better story...otherwise it was HOT. werd.
